About Elyssa Willadsen

Elyssa is an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Claudia I. Pringles, PLLC. Her practice areas include probate, guardianship, and real estate, including representing sellers in real estate transactions.

Elyssa earned her law degree from Vermont Law School in 2021, where she was the co-chair of the Women’s Law Society. Elyssa was also named Outstanding Law Student for the year 2020 by the National Association of Women Lawyers. Elyssa was a successful participant of the Vermont Law School’s accelerated Juris Doctor program, which allowed her to complete her law degree in two years rather than the traditional three-year program.

Prior to studying law, Elyssa spent several seasons working on farms in Vermont, New York, and New Jersey. This experience ignited her interest in studying law as a way to help people in rural communities and continues to inform her work as an attorney serving the Vermont community.

Elyssa’s passion to help others is also evident in her volunteer work. While studying at Vermont Law School, she volunteered at Safeline, an organization working to end violence against women and children. She also volunteered at an afterschool program teaching children how to cook easy, vegetable-centric meals and snacks, and participated as a member of the Campus Greening Committee.

Outside of the law office, Elyssa enjoys cooking, writing, being outdoors, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
